We’re a Christian couple navigating life as newlyweds, new homeowners and puppy parents. We recently moved back to the Florida panhandle after living in Washington, D.C. We both love the Florida State Seminoles, coffee, eating breakfast at Cracker Barrel, cooking, being lazy, our iPads and Kindles, going to the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast, trying new restaurants and hanging out with our friends and family. We also love rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals (except for David, who is an Atlanta Braves fan ;)).

Lyndsi and David met while attending the Florida State University despite growing up 15 minutes away from each other, started dating in 2005, moved to D.C. & Virginia Beach to attend grad school & law school respectively, spent 3 years living 3 1/2 hours apart, got engaged on Christmas Day 2009 and were married on October 1, 2010 in Destin, FL. They now live on the Emerald Coast with their puppy, Charlie Stevens.

Here’s a video of their journey together:

David graduated from the Regent University School of Law in May 2010, passed the bar and now works as a prosecutor. Lyndsi graduated from Georgetown University with a Master of Arts in Communication, Culture & Technology in May 2009. She directs marketing programs for an online news outlet.

Hi! I’m Sue, and I’m from SlimKicker, a diet/fitness app and online website. I saw your blog a few days ago and it captured my interest!

I’m contacting you b/c we’re about to release a fitness tracker (similar to FitBit) early next year, and are looking for bloggers who would be interested in receiving 1 for free to review when it is out (negative or positive).

Would you be interested in doing this? You can email me at: sue (at) slimkicker (com) with ‘Review’ in the email heading if you are.

In case you don’t know, our online website SlimKicker basically turns your diet/fitness goals into a fun level-up game. The tracker will work with the website, and allow people to track calories burned and number of steps they walk automatically. The more they exercise, the more points they rack up! That’s basically how it will work.

Anyway, hope to hear back either way…

    – Sue
