30 Days of Thanks: November 22, 2012

Today, I’m thankful that David and I don’t have to travel to spend Thanksgiving with our families.

We started the day drinking coffee and watching the Macy’s parade at home. I also made homemade mashed potatoes to take to my grandma’s house.

Our first dinner was at my grandma’s. we feasted on turkey, my favorite rolls, corn on the cob, green beans, my mashed potatoes, stuffing and more. David’s favorite thing was the sausage balls.

After watching the Lions and some more of the parade, we headed to David’s grandparents’ house for our second dinner. We also got to watch the cat drunk out of the faucet.

Now we are headed home to change and get ready to head out for some Christmas shopping!
