2010: A remarkable year

2010 was filled with big events for us. As David said, there may not be another year as eventful as 2010 for us, anytime soon at least.

We started off the year as a newly engaged couple, thinking about venues and cakes and honeymoon destinations.

It was Lyndsi’s first year without any academic classes.

We survived Snowmageddon 2010.

We attended bridal shows.

We registered for wedding gifts.

We had engagement pictures taken by the amazing Garrett Hubbard.

David graduated from law school.

We bought our wedding bands.

Lyndsi finished her first full year in the working world, and got promoted.

MOH Whitney had Riley Whitworth.

Lyndsi moved twice in two months.

We finalized wedding plans.

Lyndsi turned 23 — officially entering mid-twenties range.

MOH Whitney threw an awesome bridal shower.

Lyndsi had her dolphin cruise bachelorette party.

We were featured in the B.I.O section of the Washington Post Express.

David passed the bar exam.

David got sworn-in as an attorney.

Shalimar Baptist Church threw us another great shower.

We used the week before the wedding to prepare for the big day.

We had our rehearsal + rehearsal dinner.

We got married on 10/01/10.

We took a cruise to the Bahamas for our honeymoon.

We moved into our first apartment together.

David turned 28.

Florida State beat Florida for the first time in six years, and we were there to see it.

We had our first Thanksgiving as a married couple.

We celebrated our first Christmas as a married couple.

GM & David’s former roommate Patrick and his girlfriend Katie got engaged!

We ended the year watching FSU beat South Carolina in the Chick-fil-a bowl!
